Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

Ringside Media LLC (“Ringside,” “we,” “us”) is a Delaware limited liability company and a marketing services company. We route insurance phone calls and leads to licensed insurance agencies and call centers (“buyers”), which pay us for them. The calls and leads come from people who asked to hear about insurance. We are not an insurance agency, producer, broker or carrier.

This policy describes the personal information we handle, where it comes from, why we use it, who receives it and what choices you have. Because we deal with two different groups of people, it has two parts, plus sections that apply to everyone.

1. Who this policy covers

  • Part A is for people who visit ringsidemedia.co (the “site”) and for people at businesses who contact us, fill in our buyer intake form or work with us.
  • Part B is for consumers: people whose phone call, or whose request for insurance information, reaches a buyer through Ringside.

Once a buyer receives a consumer’s call or lead, the buyer’s own privacy policy governs what the buyer does with it. A written agreement between Ringside and a business may contain more detailed data terms. For that business relationship, the agreement controls if the two differ.

2. Part A: site visitors and business contacts

What you give us

  • Contact details: your name, job title, business email address and business phone number.
  • Company details: company name, website, type of business and how many licensed agents take calls.
  • Buying details: insurance lines, call types, licensed states, hours and time zone, how many calls you can take at once, caps, billable duration, return terms, the proof you need, your CRM and dialer, start date and budget range.
  • Messages: anything you type into a free-text field or send us by email.

Our forms are for business information. They never ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth, a bank account number or any consumer’s personal information, and we ask you not to include any of those.

Services involved when you visit or write to us

  • Hosting and forms (Netlify): Netlify hosts the site and receives what you submit through our forms. As with any web host, its servers see technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, so the site can be delivered and protected. Netlify also screens form submissions for spam.
  • Email (Google Workspace): our email runs on Google Workspace. Form submissions reach us as emails, and anything you email us is stored there.
  • Fonts (Google Fonts): the site’s typefaces load from Google’s servers. When a page loads, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and browser details under Google’s own privacy terms.
  • No analytics or ad tracking: the site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts, and it sets no cookies of its own. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use it

  • To review your intake form or message and reply to it.
  • To contact you about your submission by phone, text or email, if you agreed to that on the form.
  • To onboard you, run compliance checks, give you reporting access and bill you under any agreement we sign.
  • To protect the site, our buyers and the public against fraud and misuse.
  • To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping duties.

Who we give it to

We do not sell the business contact information you submit through this site, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It goes only:

  • to companies that provide services to us, such as the hosting, email, call-tracking, reporting and payment providers we use, which may use it only to do that work;
  • to a company you work with through us, when a signed agreement needs it (for example, to confirm who to contact about a compliance question);
  • to authorities or others when the law requires it, or when we need to protect the rights, property or safety of Ringside or anyone else;
  • to a buyer or successor if our business is merged, sold or reorganized, with this policy continuing to apply.

Calls and texts about your submission

If you tick the consent box on a form, we may call, text or email you about that submission. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or tell us on the contact page to stop any calls, texts or emails.

3. Part B: consumers whose calls or leads we route

If you phoned a number in an insurance ad, or filled in a form asking to be contacted about insurance, your call or your details may have reached a buyer through Ringside. This part explains what that involves.

What we receive

  • Phone details: the number you called from, the number you dialed, when the call happened and how long it lasted, and the general area your phone number or ZIP code points to.
  • Call recordings: calls on our platform are recorded, and you hear a notice about it when the call starts. A recording holds whatever is said on the call. We may also keep a written transcript of it.
  • Phone-menu answers: anything you enter or say in an automated phone menu, such as your ZIP code or the kind of coverage you want.
  • Form details: what you typed into the form where you asked to be contacted. Depending on the form, that can include your name, phone number, email, address or ZIP code, date of birth or age, household size, current coverage and the type of insurance you want. Some health and Medicare forms also ask health or eligibility questions.
  • Consent records: evidence of the request you made, such as the date and time, the wording you agreed to, the page or ad involved, your IP address and device type, and a reference number from an independent service that records consent.
  • Suppression checks: whether your number appears on our own do-not-call list or on a federal or state Do Not Call registry, and the results of phone-number validation.
  • Outcome details: what a buyer reports back about a call or lead, such as whether it was accepted, returned or disputed.

Where it comes from

  • From you, when you call one of the numbers we route or answer a phone menu.
  • From our call and lead sources: the companies whose websites, ads or other marketing you used to ask to be contacted about insurance. Our standards require them to hold your consent before they pass your call or details on.
  • From service providers that record consent, validate phone numbers or check Do Not Call lists for us.
  • From buyers, about what happened with a call or lead they received.

Why we use it

  • To connect you with a licensed insurance agency or call center you asked to hear from, for the coverage you asked about, in your state.
  • To check consent, catch duplicates and fraud, and hold call sources and buyers to our standards.
  • To bill buyers and to settle returns and disputes.
  • To honor opt-outs and do-not-call requests.
  • To meet our legal obligations, including telemarketing and Medicare marketing rules, and to defend legal claims.

We do not decide whether you can get insurance or what it costs. Licensed agents and insurance companies do that.

Health and other sensitive details

Some state laws treat health information and similar details as sensitive and require a person’s consent before they are collected or passed on. Our standards require call and lead sources to get that consent. We use sensitive details only to connect you with the coverage you asked about, and not to profile you or to advertise to you.

Who receives it

  • Buyers: licensed insurance agencies and call centers whose licensed agents can help with the coverage you asked about. They use your information to talk with you about that coverage, under their own privacy policies.
  • Service providers: companies that do work for us, such as phone and call-tracking services, recording storage, hosting, email, consent recording, phone validation, Do Not Call screening, payments, accounting and our professional advisers. They may use it only for that work.
  • The source that sent the call or lead, limited to what it needs for billing, results and compliance reviews of its own traffic.
  • Others when required: regulators, courts and law enforcement when the law requires it; others when needed to protect rights, property or safety; and a buyer or successor if our business is merged, sold or reorganized.

4. Selling and sharing consumer information

Several state privacy laws call it a “sale” when a business hands personal information to another business for money or other value, and “sharing” when it hands information over for advertising aimed at people based on their activity across other sites.

  • We sell consumer information. Passing consumer calls and leads to buyers for a fee is our business, so we sell the Part B information described above, as those laws use the word. The kinds of information we sell, or may sell, to buyers are: identifiers (such as name, phone number, email and address); age, date of birth and household details; the insurance you asked about and your current coverage; call recordings and phone-menu answers; consent records, including IP address and device type; general location (state, ZIP code or area code); and health or eligibility answers where you gave them.
  • We do not share consumer information for advertising based on activity across other sites, and we do not run that kind of advertising.
  • We do not sell or share the business contact information submitted through this site.
  • We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

You can tell us to stop selling your information at any time. See the next section.

5. Your privacy choices: opt out, Do Not Call

Do Not Sell or Share: how to stop it

To tell us to stop selling or sharing your information, use either of these. You don’t need an account.

  • Email info@ringsidemedia.co with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” Include the phone number you called from or gave on a form, and the email address you gave, if any.
  • Call us at (954) 204-8946.

Once we have your request, we will stop selling or sharing your information from then on. Where the law requires it, we will also pass your request on to the buyers who received your information from us. A call that has already been connected can’t be undone, but no new sale will follow your request.

Browser signals: this site doesn’t sell or share information about its visitors, so a browser opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control has nothing to switch off here. A browser signal can’t reach the call or lead records described in Part B, because those aren’t linked to your web browser. To opt out of those, please use the email address or phone number above.

Do Not Call requests

  • To stop calls connected through Ringside, email info@ringsidemedia.co with the subject “Do Not Call” and your phone number, or call (954) 204-8946. We will add your number to our internal do-not-call list and tell the buyers and call sources that received it through us.
  • During a call with an agent, you can also ask that agency to stop calling you. Each buyer keeps its own do-not-call list.
  • For texts, reply STOP to any text message.
  • The National Do Not Call Registry is run by the Federal Trade Commission. You can add your number at donotcall.gov.

A Do Not Call request stops sales calls. It doesn’t stop a call you start yourself, and it doesn’t delete the record of your request, which we keep so we can keep honoring it.

6. State privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have some or all of the following rights. Each state law has its own limits and exceptions.

  • Know and access: ask what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we gave it to, and get a copy.
  • Correct: ask us to fix information that is wrong.
  • Delete: ask us to delete information we hold about you.
  • Opt out: tell us to stop selling or sharing your information, or using it for targeted advertising or certain kinds of profiling. We do neither of the last two.
  • Sensitive information: withhold or withdraw consent to the use of sensitive information, or ask us to limit how we use it.
  • Appeal: ask us to reconsider if we turn down your request.
  • Fair treatment: we will not treat you worse for using any of these rights.

How to ask: email info@ringsidemedia.co or call (954) 204-8946. Tell us which right you are using and give us the phone number or email address the request is about.

Checking it’s you: before we release or delete information, we will match the details you give us to what we hold. We may, for example, call or text the phone number in question. We will only use what you give us for this check to handle your request.

Someone acting for you: an authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission. We may still confirm the request with you directly.

What we may keep: after a deletion request, we may keep what the law allows or requires us to keep, such as the record of your request, your opt-out and do-not-call status, and the consent records we may need to show that a call was lawful.

Appeals: if we turn down all or part of a request, we will tell you why. To appeal, reply to our answer or email info@ringsidemedia.co with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will answer in writing. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state’s attorney general.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, and then we delete it or strip out what identifies you. In practice:

  • Business contacts: for as long as we work together, and afterward as long as tax and business-record rules require. Intake forms we don’t approve are deleted after 12 months.
  • Consumer call recordings and lead details: 5 years, and 10 years for Medicare calls, as the Medicare marketing rules require.
  • Consent, opt-out and do-not-call records: as long as we may need to prove consent or keep honoring a request, which can be several years.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to people who need it for their work. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed. That is one reason our forms ask for business information only.

9. Children and minors

Our site and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly gather any personal information about children younger than 13. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Insurance calls and leads should come from adults, and if we learn that a call or lead came from a minor, we will stop routing it and delete what we can. If you think we hold a minor’s information, please contact us.

10. Where information is processed

Ringside is based in the United States and works with buyers and call sources in the United States. Information we handle is processed and stored in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will post it before it takes effect.
